Mrs. Yem Kolab, a 35-year old farmer with a daughter at the new school.
Mrs. Yem Kolab is a 35-year old farmer in the school village. She has two daughters; one of her daughters comes to study at the new school. Her family owns one hectare of land that yields about four tons of rice a year.
“I am happy with the new school donated by the donor because it will benefit all the children in the village, including my daughter. Before the new school was built, the children studied in the old school and were afraid of getting hurt from falling tiles whenever there was rain or heavy winds.”
“After she finishes this school, I would like my daughter to continue her education until the university level. I will send her to a university in Phnom Penh because I have relatives there and my children can stay with them during their studies.”
