Mr. Bou Saran is the village chief where the Ro Bas Raing Nippon Foundation School is located.

I am 52 years old, married, and have four children studying at this school. I have seven children in total. My wife is a farmer and a midwife in this village. Part of my job as village chief is to organize and encourage the villagers to take care of the school. Whenever we need something done in the village, I arrange the meetings. I have been a village chief since 1993.

Since we received the new school, I’ve been very happy. I’m encouraging parents to send their children to school every day. When the new school was built, more people sent their children to school than before. This school is of much better quality and has enough space for all the students. |
