Mr. Toch Vuthy is the director of the Samlot Nippon Foundation School.  He has been a director since the 2000 school year and a teacher since 1985.

In Their Own Words. . .

On the new building: “I like the new building because it is nice and cool.  The old building was made of wood and this one is new and concrete, so we like it very much.”

On school subjects: “I like teaching mathematics and Khmer because they are necessary to understand other subjects.  Mathematics is my students’ favorite subject because they are happy when the mathematics class is going to begin.”

On teaching:  “My favorite thing about my job is teaching the classes, because I do not want the children here to be uneducated people.”
