The Uncle Mark Lutz School

September, 2001

Mrs. Noch Saroeun is 47 years old and a farmer in the village.

In Their Own Words. . .

On the new building: “I have five children going to school, and three at The Uncle Mark Lutz School.  They like this school because they want knowledge and if they study hard they will be able to find jobs.”

On the effects on village life: “The new school building has improved village life because it offers a chance to get knowledge.  This village has never before had NGO help.”

Message for Mr. Lutz: “I would like to thank Mr. Mark Lutz and the Social Fund for supporting this new building for my children and all the children in the village.  I wish the donors strong health, longevity, and great success.”
