Mr. Krut Sithong is a teacher at the World Mate School Number Nine.  He has been a teacher for eight years.

In Their Own Words

On the new building: “I like the new building because it is different from the old one.  The old one had no walls and many holes in the roof.  The new building is concrete and so the children can study in all weather.”

 
On school subjects: “The students like learning Khmer.  I think they like it because it is part of their culture.  All Khmer people need to know their language to be part of the culture.”
